Centenary Fund Eligibility

Applications to the Centenary Fund are by invitation only.  Projects funded are generally of national or regional significance and we do not accept unsolicited applications.  The fund was set up in 1985 to commemorate 100 years of the Todd family‘s business interests and each year a specific theme is selected, generally rotating between three catgories: Environment & Conservation, Health & Science, and Arts & Cultural Heritage.

In 2010 we are again looking at Health and Science and will be exploring how we can contribute to supporting science excellence for primary school aged children.

From 2007 – 2009 we contributed to the Hikurangi Foundation, a new collaborative fund set up to address climate change and promote sustainability.”

Previous years’ themes have included “Arts and Cultural Heritage projects that promote tolerance and celebrate our cultural diversity” (2006); “Rare Diseases and Genetic Disorders” (2005); and “the Recovery and Protection of New Zealand’s Biodiversity” (2004). See Grant Recipients for a list of funded projects.
